If I were to tell you that Zoe, Alex and their families pulled together this adorable front yard wedding within less than 24 hours, I don’t think many would believe me. The new Mr. and Mrs. Kurtz had originally planned for an April 11th wedding in South Carolina. As we call know, the coronavirus pandemic hit and threw all April wedding plans out the window.

But it wouldn’t stop Zoe and Alex. I’m so so glad it didn’t!

And, guys, Zoe has such a sweet, loving attitude that if any bride were going to handle emergency wedding plans so well it would be her!

Zoe and Alex said their vows on the porch of Alex’s parent’s BEAUTIFUL historic home in Lincolnton. Just their close family were in attendance, but they did live stream the ceremony on Facebook. When Alex’s mom (who’s my good friend’s mother, by the way) texted to tell me about the changed plans, I don’t think any of them expected me to come but I mean, C’MON, even if you’re eloping you still need pictures of your day!

Driving up to the Kurtz’ home to see Zoe and Alex smiling and chatting with their family made me sooo happy I could capture a little of their celebration.

I also don’t think Zoe’s boho-chic dress could not have been fitted to the occasion. Especially considering it was her mothers dress!!
